Hypermotive  host a delegation of Turkish rail experts

We were delighted to host a delegation of Turkish rail experts from TÜBİTAK and TÜRASAŞ yesterday at Hypermotive’s engineering centre. Part of the UK-Türkiye Hydrogen Train Dialogue exchange programme, hosted by the Department for Business and Trade.

A morning of deep discussion and exchange on the use of hydrogen in rail applications covering fuel cells, H2ICE and storage systems, followed by a tour of the labs and some demonstrations. We were very pleased to be able to show our Hypercore hydrogen system controller products working on the HiL rig, running through the automated safety functionality for safe management of hydrogen gas and our X-M1 marine fuel cell system developed in collaboration with Honda.

Much to take away from the day where opportunities for future collaborative programmes abound.
